Several years of thinking and conducting research preceded the preparation of our Future Academy program. It is very important to map what competences our colleagues need. Although there is no individual development element in the program, we have managed to create small groups in which participants’ needs are similar, and thus contribute significantly to their individual development.

What´s the solution?

Just like any other organisation, Future FM also prioritizes the adequate knowledge, skills and competences of employees.

Considering the number of management and mid-office staff, we are a small organisation, so our capacity is limited regarding human and financial resources. Our internal resources are also limited in terms of organising training – however, the programs offered by external companies are not customized enough.

We work in close cooperation with a trainer who is open to holding trainings tailored to our organisation’s current demands. The planning of the program starts with a so-called process of introspection. Our mentor spends a day with some of our colleagues to get some personal experience about the current challenges of our jobs. A training plan is afterwards prepared on the basis of these meetings, which is finalised with the cooperation of the human resources department and the manager of each division. This process ensures that the training system is suitable for both the organisation and employees.

Our training is based on situational exercises and experiences, during which colleagues can acquire the most important competences through personal experience.

Business connection

We have observed that this form of training has a huge positive impact on business effectiveness. Employees are more efficient, confident and satisfied.
