What´s the solution?
The ALTEO Academy is an ongoing series of programmes, where each area of work is presented in a short and interactive manner. The Internal Training Day, which is currently under preparation, will allow employees to have an entire day only for professional training and self-development, whereas the above mentioned ALTEO Academy consists of one presentation every 2 to 3 months. The Internal Training Day will become the future of our current employee development, starting in 2016.
In our view, the day spent on training is not a cost but an investment. We encourage our colleagues to learn, allowing our company to become more competitive. An additional benefit is that this makes teamwork and cooperation stronger, so that joint work will be more effective and smooth within ALTEO. The smooth collaboration can be a competitive advantage.
The programme will help participants widen their knowledge and interests and learn about the company’s work even beyond their professional area. This is a tool for self-development and enhancing cooperation between departments. It is however hard to translate the impact of the programme into numbers, so for this reason we focus on qualitative factors. The interest and enthusiasm we have already experienced from people is an indicator of its success.
